Gemeindealpe Mitterbach - Up with a lift, down with a swing

Description

The Gemeindealpe (1,626 m) is a particularly worthwhile destination: two chairlifts shorten the route to the Terzerhaus mountain restaurant, while at the summit a 360-degree panoramic view presents the surrounding mountain world around the "father mountain" Ötscher. The 800 m long panoramic circular trail, which is suitable for baby carriages, winds its way around the summit, while the adventure climbing playground at the Terzerhaus guarantees hours of fun for children. If you prefer a fast downhill ride, you can whizz down to the valley on the mountain carts from the middle station.

In winter, an action-packed snowboard and ski paradise beckons with a varied offer. Deep snow specialists will find a freeride area next to the steepest slope in Lower Austria in the summit area, while a speed track with speed measurement is available for high-speed fans. The centerpiece is the snow park, right by the middle station, equipped with 17 elements, including 15 rails/boxes and two kickers. The Funslope in the area of the valley station ensures happy and smiling faces.

The ride on the Mariazellerbahn promises a stress-free arrival and return journey.
