Details for: Sulzbichl - Trefflingfall - Sulzbichl
Brief description
An impressive hike along the roaring Trefflingfall - possibly the most spectacular waterfall in the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park!
Description
The starting point of the route is Sulzbichl in Puchenstuben. The hike begins leisurely along the Trefflingbach through a beautiful gorge forest. Along the lovingly designed path, you follow the water over bridges and boardwalks, which cascades over 120 meters deep into the Erlauf. The Trefflingfall is thus considered one of the highest waterfalls in Lower Austria.
At the lowest point of the hike, the crystal-clear, turquoise Erlauf invites you for a cooling off before you fight your way back up the impressive Trefflingfall to the starting point. Afterwards, a visit to the Trefflingfall Hut or the Trefflingtalerhaus is recommended!
