Ötscher Dripstone Cave
Description
It is the highlight underground in the alpine Mostviertel region: the Ötscher stalactite cave in the Ötscher-Tormäuer Nature Park. An expedition into the mystical land of stalagmites and stalactites offers numerous special features, such as a visit to an underground lake. The best way to reach the 575 m long and 54 m deep cave is from Gaming. The walk from the Schindlhütte snack station takes around 45 minutes. The cave can be reached from Lackenhof/Raneck in around one and a half hours.
