The proximity to the Via Aqua, an approximately 75 km long circular hiking trail in the Mostviertel region, is particularly attractive.

The trail connects the municipalities of Scheibbs, Purgstall, Gaming and St. Anton and leads along the Erlauf and Jeßnitz rivers to the most beautiful places by the water.

Impressive destinations along the way include the wild and romantic Erlauf Gorge, the Hochbärneck mountain hut with its stunning views and the Gaminger beer fountain.
