When the sun is shining over the Ybbstal Alps, it usually doesn't take long to get from the diving board into the water. A quick look to see who is waiting below, then a jump. Next to it, children race down the 68-metre-long water slide. And somewhere on the sunbathing lawn, someone has been trying for half an hour to read a book "just for a moment". It rarely works.
The outdoor pool is one of the most beautiful swimming spots in the Mostviertel. Surrounded by the panorama of the Ybbstal Alps, summer days pass pleasantly slowly here. With plenty of water for swimming, splashing around and cooling off. With a children's pool, diving boards and enough space on the large sunbathing lawn so that there's still room under the tree.
Those who have had enough of the water in between can play a round of beach volleyball or mini golf. Later on, some end up at the boccia court in front of the pool and stay there longer than expected. To be honest, that happens more often here.
